Removable Db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without flashlights, and license plate holders or other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the gas due to converting to the race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the time of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
