Are removable db killers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations, it is only allowed for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: This item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, flashlight, and number plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different angle of gas due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty, and any request for a refund will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one needing repair; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
