Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original or GPR catalytic converter is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for carrying out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is there a limit of 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and registration plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
