Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only permitted for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without saddlebags, without a spotlight and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with repair rights returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
