Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is non-compliant with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the available tutorials on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike solely on the track, without bags, flashlight, and license plate support or any other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will void the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with repair rights, with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
