Are there removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or breach screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives, it is only allowed for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for fitting: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the available tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in races; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. This applies from the date of purchase, with repair rights returning to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
