Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise-approved, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. Should problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that might conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
