Removable Dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right of repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
