Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with traffic regulations on public roads.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must verify in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to undergo the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed at a professional workshop, as no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activities, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on a track only, without bags, without flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the altered gas angle due to the transformation into the racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
