Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately ask for information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? Yes.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without panniers, without a flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that might interfere with the altered gas angle following the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
