Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and seek immediate information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? Yes.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without saddlebags, without a torch, and without a license plate holder or any other parts that may conflict with the altered gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Misusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot supply a new silencer to replace the one being repaired. The customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
