You, or more specifically, your choice of frame, motivated us to take on the challenges of bottom bracket installation and durability - thank you. We took on the task of improving bottom bracket standards to bring you the UBB4630. Made from 7000 series aluminum alloy, the UBB4630 uses a threaded sleeve to lock the two cups in place-without all the locking effort resting on the press fit shell, resulting in uniform rotation and no unwanted noise.

The press fit location prevents bearing overload and also improves bearing alignment for longer life. The external bearing location allows for smoother rotation and greater rigidity of the housing shell for PF30 and BBright standards. The inner sleeve also prevents the cable guides from rubbing against rotating parts.
