All new patented sleeve lead clip that grips and holds the sleeve inside the lead clip, ensuring it doesn’t slip off the line like can happen with other clips. When using a sleeve to hold the main line or to protect the flanks of the fish, it’s essential that the sleeve doesn’t slide up the line during the fight, otherwise your main line could lift scales and damage the fish. The Sleeve Lead Clip ensures that the sleeve doesn’t slip along the line. It has a side window that allows access inside to thread a locking funnel shaped like a witch's hat onto the main line which is pushed into the sleeve. When this window is put back in place, the pin feature locks the tumbler and sleeve in place, preventing the sleeve from slipping out of the clip. The precisely fitted tail rubber allows the lead to detach from the clip in case of snagging, but unlike other clips, the sleeve won’t be dragged along with it.
