Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or anti-tamper bolts or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install these products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If you encounter problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without bag, flashlight, number plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair through return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
