Removable dbkillers and catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with regulations for public roadway traffic.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for mounting: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided along with mounting instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems are encountered during the installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, immediately requesting information and/or advice from customer service.
If you purchase online, it is recommended to buy the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your roadway.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, without a torch and without a number plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different angle of gas due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of warranty on the product. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
