Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for use in RACING on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have products installed by a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if it were on track only, without luggage, without a flashlight and without license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, warranty rights apply for repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in exchange for one that needs repairing; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
