No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
For online purchases, it is necessary to activate the warranty by sending the appropriate coupon stamped by the installation workshop by email; for physical purchases, the shop stamp is sufficient. The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without saddlebags, flashlight, plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
The new Grand Prix Evo silencer from GPR, made in Poppy, was created to celebrate its 20 years of presence in the MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3 world championships. The first Grand Prix line was presented in 2005, at the debut with the Konica Minolta team and rider Makoto Tamada, and the LCR team with rider Casey Stoner. The silencer is conical, with a special shape, ranging from a diameter of 90 mm to 130 mm in circumference and length, depending on the chosen motorcycle. It features a body made of stainless steel with a carbon look finish, CNC machined stainless steel end caps, and a pentagonal outlet with db killer.

Removable db killers and catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not in accordance with road traffic regulations on public roads.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
