The new Grand Prix Evo Black Titanium silencer from GPR was created to celebrate its 20 years of presence in the MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3 world championship. The Grand Prix first line was introduced in 2005, during the debut of the Konica Minolta Team and rider Makoto Tamada, as well as the LCR Team and rider Casey Stoner. The silencer is conical, with a special shape ranging from a diameter of 90 mm to 130 mm in circumference and a variable length depending on the bike. Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fittings is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with traffic regulations on public roads.
