Are removable db killers allowed? altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper bolts or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to perform annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug-and-play, but it is still advisable to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. If any problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bag, flashlight, number plate holder, or other parts that might conflict with the different gas angle resulting from converting to race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in a loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the purchase, customers have the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at their own expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
