Are dbkillers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road regulations and to conduct the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with a right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's cost.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
