Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch visible tutorials on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on track only, without saddle bags, without flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that might conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
