Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only permissible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
NOTE: This item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug-and-play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and seek information and/or advice from customer service immediately.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
It also fits two cams. No structural modifications to the bike are required for the installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of the product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
