Are db killers removable? altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with road regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road regulations and have the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install them in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
It also fits two cams. No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bag, without flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that could conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to a racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty, and any requests for returns will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
