Are dbkillers and removable catalytic converters allowed? Modifying the welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or the anti-tampering screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only permissible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it’s still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the modification to the race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty and any further claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, the right to repair is upheld with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
