Are db killers and removable catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper bolts, or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with regulations for public road traffic.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions, each silencer has the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you purchase online, it's recommended to buy the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items suitable for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight and number plate holder or any other parts that may conflict with the altered gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of the product warranty and any warranty claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard repair time.
