Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: This item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in the approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use, removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and without a licence plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the altered gas angle due to the transformation into a race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
