Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on the tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: This item is noise approved; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still advisable to have products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If any problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle solely on the track, without bags, without flashlights and registration plate holders or other parts that would conflict with the different throttle angle due to the conversion to the race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with repair rights to be returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot supply a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
