Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check in advance if having the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use on the track, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlights, and license plate holders or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a racing version. The abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty and any claim will be denied. From the date of purchase, with the right of repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one for repair, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
