Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must verify in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for the installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight, and without a license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the altered gas angle due to the transformation into the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will void the product warranty. From the time of purchase, with repair rights linked to a return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
