Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. The use of the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Assembly recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without flashlights and plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the modification to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, counting from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
