Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the fastener is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, this is only permissible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still advisable to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions, each muffler carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installing the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, without torch, and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the purchase date, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new muffler in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
