Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not conform to EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
WARNING: this article is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and request information and/or advice from customer service immediately.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without panniers, without flashlight, and number plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any request for a return will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair and return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
