Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, this can only be done for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. If any issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch the tutorials visible on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different throttle angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product's warranty. From the purchase, with the right to repair and return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
