Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or the anti-theft screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on the tracks; using the open version on the road does not comply with the regulations of public network traffic.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products at a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in races; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that may interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. Starting from the purchase, with repair rights with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
