Are the db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still advisable to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair, with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
