Removable dbkillers? Altering dbkiller welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with traffic regulations on public roads and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is essential to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
2in1 No structural modifications to the motorbike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on a track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that could interfere with the different angle of the gas due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to re-mount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
