Are the db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, this is only allowed for RACING use on the tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on public roads and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations
A specific approval certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. If issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to seek immediate information and/or advice from customer service
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
It is designed to be fitted in a high-level position. No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the packaging or view tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of warranty on the product. This starts from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot supply a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
