Are the db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road does not comply with the public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, the customer must verify in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to undergo the annual inspection.
You may use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
Includes the vertical Y pipe. No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that could interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any warranty claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
