Are there removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the bracket is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise-approved, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to undergo the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug-and-play, but it’s recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately ask for information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
Includes the vertical Y pipe. No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the altered gas angle due to conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one needing repair, the customer must accept to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
