Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or tamper-proof bolts or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, it is only allowed for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of improper installations
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from the customer service
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, flashlight, number plate holder, or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the transformation into the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
