Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines, this is only permissible for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on roads is not in compliance with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activities, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle following the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the time of purchase, there is a right to repair with returns to GPR factory or to the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
