Removable db killers and catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no complaints will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
If you buy online, it is recommended to purchase the product from a seller in YOUR COUNTRY to ensure the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is reliable and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as they would on the track only, without bags, flashlight and registration plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
