Removable dbkillers and catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws, or removing the fittings is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you buy online, it is recommended to purchase the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers the items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a saddlebag, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that could conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
