Are the db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If any problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without a saddle, flashlight, license plate holder, or any other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. This starts from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait standard time for the repair.
