Are db killers removable? altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, it is only allowed for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install them in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in cases of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without saddlebag, flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
