Enhance your performance with Drymax running socks, specially designed for maximum protection against blisters.
The Maximum Protection Running socks are tested in races to help prevent blisters during marathons and ultra-long runs. Moreover, they are ideal for runners prone to blisters. Many runners have switched from moisture-wicking socks to Max Pro Running socks. Now that they can run without blisters, runners are reducing their times and increasing their mileage. The Maximum Protection Running socks are designed for hot, dry, and very humid conditions to help prevent blisters on the feet during trail marathons and ultra-long races. They offer protection for prolonged extreme outdoor use to safeguard the health and safety of the user. By running without blisters, runners can reduce their times, increase their mileage, and have much more fun. These socks are not designed for general use. Made with PFAS chemicals.
The Max Pro Running socks are medium+ density padded socks. They are designed to be used in cool to warm conditions to keep feet drier, cooler, and more comfortable.
This system incorporates PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) fibres as well as Drymax fibres throughout the sock's foot area. The ventilated panels on top release heat and moisture vapours, helping to keep feet cooler and drier.
PTFE has the lowest friction coefficient of all fibres, making it the best for keeping friction low between skin and sock.
The low friction allows the Max Pro socks to stay cooler and drier, thus reducing the risk of hot spots and blisters.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash in warm water with similar colours. To bleach the socks, use non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry on low. Do not iron.
Do not use fabric softeners; they leave a residue on fibres and fabrics, preventing them from functioning as intended. To remove fabric softeners, simply wash with detergent and rinse.
Do not use chlorine bleach.
Do not use skin lubricants.
29% Drymax/Olefin, 27% Polyester, 4% Elastane, 3% Nylon, 37% PTFE
This sock is designed for extreme, prolonged outdoor use by professional mountaineers and experts to protect the health and safety of the user in very wet conditions. It is not designed for general use.
Why our ePTFE is safe:
Inertness and size: PTFE is a solid high molecular weight polymer and chemically inert. It does not break down into smaller, more mobile PFAS under normal conditions and is not water-soluble.
Non-bioaccessibility: Due to its size and inertness, PTFE is not bioaccessible. It does not accumulate in the body or interact with cells, and it is not easily absorbed. This distinguishes it from smaller, more mobile PFAS that pose more health and environmental issues.
Low toxicity concern: Scientific and regulatory bodies, including the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), have classified fluoropolymers like PTFE as "low concern polymers," as their properties make them low-risk for human health and the environment.
