Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on db killer and the catalyst or tamper-proof screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug-and-play, but it is still recommended to have them installed at a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If any issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without any saddlebags, without a flashlight and number plate holder, or any other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
