Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on the tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.

The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use on the track; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight, and without a number plate holder or other parts that could conflict with the altered angle of the throttle due to the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the voiding of the product warranty. This applies from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
