Are the dbkillers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and immediately request information or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? Yes.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without saddlebag, flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the changed gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one for repair; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
