Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: This item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is needed in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is advisable to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without flashlights, and without a license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the modification to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
